L'Idea Nazionale (The National Idea) was an Italian political newspaper associated with the Italian Nationalist Association, which merged with the Fascist Party in 1923. The party advocated militarist nationalism and creation of an Italian empire. It was founded by Italian nationalist Enrico Corradini. The newspaper endorsed Italy's war against the Ottoman Empire over Libya in 1911 and endorsed Italy entering into World War I against the Central Powers of Germany and Austria-Hungary. Writers for the journal included Roberto Forges Davanzati, Francesco Coppola and Maurizio Maraviglia.
